RedactPen is a browser-based tool that loads PDF files, adds masks to areas selected by the user, and exports PDF or image files.

When exporting as PDF, RedactPen keeps the original PDF structure and adds masking rectangles on the pages. Some PDF features, including search or copy behavior, may remain available.

PDF loading, display, masking, and export run in the user's browser. RedactPen does not send uploaded PDF files to a server.

The page may load external resources required for display, including advertising or external libraries.

Before sharing or submitting an exported file, you are responsible for confirming that the required masks are applied.

Masking in this service is a visual hiding process. It does not guarantee complete removal or irreversible destruction of information contained in the original PDF.

You must not use the service for unlawful purposes, to infringe third-party rights, or to interfere with service operation.

Unauthorized access, excessive load, or interference with advertising or external services is prohibited.

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for results of use, exported file contents, or the sufficiency of masking.

For important documents or legal submissions, consult a qualified professional or the receiving organization as needed.

These terms may be updated when needed for feature changes, legal compliance, or operational reasons. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
